Picture Day

Today was picture day at the elementary. Aidan had pictures taken for preschool and Kembrie and Amelie had pictures taken at school. I took Bianca in to get her picture taken as well. I thought I would give you a preview. This is what she wore.

I found this picture! How cute! I was a chunky monkey too! I guess I see where Bianca gets it from!

Cardiology Appointment

Bianca is quite the chunky monkey now! We took her to a Cardiologist appointment today. They weighed her and she is now 16 pounds! Crazy!
The cardiologist, Dr. Gray, said that her heart is good and the EKG, ECHO and all her other tests are perfect. She does occasionally have 'extra beats' called PAC's (Premature Artrial Contractions), but they should not effect her at all. She will probably grow out of them as she gets older.
She was so good for them and held still as the did the EKG and ECHO studies. I was so nervous, ever though I knew she was fine. There is always that chance that they will tell you some bad news. I was glad that it was all good today.
I was surprised that she was 16 pounds! We went to Wal-mart after the appointment and picked out a nice baby gym for her. I guess my milk must have a lot of calories!

In Aidan's words.

Aidan has this cute way with words. He likes to use them in strange and unusual ways. Here a couple things he has 'coined' recently. He really likes to help Grandma swat flies, but he calls the fly swatter a 'whacker-smacker'. Now everyone in the household, including Grandma, is calling it a wacker-smacker. The other day I was just sitting watching Bianca, when she sneezed. Aidan said, "Mom, the baby had a bless you!" Aren't kids cute?

Moving

We are currently in the process of getting our house ready to sell. The last couple of weeks we have been moving all of our belongings out of the house. I think we only have to load the trailer one more time! Now it will just be getting everything spruced up, so we can sell. I hope to get the house on the market next week.

New to Blogging, please forgive!

Hello everyone out there! We have just started a blog and are not really sure what we are doing. It is a work in progress, so may progress slowly until we figure out how to add things in. We are all doing well. We had a new addition come to our family on June 23, 2008. Her name is Bianca Marie Henry. We love her very much. Everyone is so excited to have her in our family. She gave us a scare the first couple of days of her life. She wasn't breathing well and had to be intubated. She also had a bad reaction to a medication and appeared to be having seizures. Everything turned out well and she was discharged from the NICU 5 days after she was born. As you can see from the pictures she has red hair just like her siblings and she looks like she will have blue eyes, but we will wait and see. If anyone out there actually finds this blog feel free to comment. We will try to update the blog often.
